c) Usage & Analytics Data

We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including app opens, lesson starts, lesson progress and completions, learning streaks, and free tier usage counts. This data helps us understand engagement and improve the product.

d) Chat Data

When you use our paper Q&A chat feature on the website, we collect the messages you send along with a session identifier stored in your browser's local storage. This data is used to provide contextual answers about research papers.

e) Automatically Collected Data

When you access the Service, we may automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, referring URLs, and device information. This is standard web server log data used for security and operational purposes.

Your data is stored on secure, AWS-hosted databases. Audio content is delivered via AWS cloud infrastructure. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS). Authentication tokens are short-lived (1 hour for access tokens) with longer-lived refresh tokens (30 days) to balance security and convenience.

While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Our website uses browser local storage solely to maintain your chat session identifier, enabling continuity when you interact with the paper Q&A feature. No personal information is stored in local storage.
